I celebrated that by taking up another hobby: smoking meat. With that, I had to control every step, including making my own rubs. Do I know what I’m doing? Heck no. But it’s a great process to learn. I have attempted ribs, pork belly, bacon, and salmon. Bacon has taken over.
As for rubs, the enjoyment lies in learning about spices. I may have added too much cinnamon while also attempting to incorporate honey. I hope to have more to write about in the near future, as I am also working on another task in life that has long been overdue. Thank you for checking in.
